Dr. Krebs earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and performed research at The Hershey Medical Center and The National Institutes of Health for 13 years. He then attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating summa cum laude in 1997. After completing an internship in medicine and surgery at The VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Dr. Krebs was the Medical Director of two VCA hospitals for 6 years.
Dr. Krebs enjoys treating dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and pocket pets. He and his wife, Melissa, have adopted 6 children and live on an 18th century farm with dairy goats, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, and parrots.
In his spare time, Dr. Krebs enjoys hiking, gardening, playing music, and making goat cheese.
Dr. Krebs has been at West Frederick Veterinary Hospital since 2016.
